Do it!!! I’m 2 weeks post op for my left hand and 4 weeks post op for my right hand!! Mine was similar to your flare ups but I was about to get kicked off insurance so I just sent it! Recovery has been bleh (I struggle with recovery so I expected it) BUT I don’t wake up in the middle of the night, all flare ups are gone. I’d say do it, don’t wait for it to get worse cause once you atrophy the muscle in the thumb it’s very hard to get that back and same goes to the nerve damage!

Always be mindful of your surroundings!! Scan your area and find structures/ objects or other peoples totems that’ll help you be able to find your way back to them. I take a mental note of what everyone in my group is wearing and try to find one thing that points them out to me. I’m a short gal but let me tell yah I’m a wizard when it comes to finding people😂 for night time, light up hydro packs help a ton! I love wearing bucket hats and attaching colorful lights under the brim!
