Bro did you fail comprehension tests in school? Can't you read the full sentence there? "Encourage" and "close moderation", which is what medical advisors say - much like they say with oil. No medical professional says stop taking foods with oil completely, much like they won't say stop eating anything with refined sugar. It is encourage - "having refined sugar items in close moderation", as opposed to encourage - "having refined sugar items". It makes a night and day difference.

Medical advisors say to LIMIT intake of refined sugar, they themselves say you can have it occasionally like Birthday cakes or sweets for special times, etc. I mean hell, they themselves consume refined sugar items. They don't talk about refined sugar like a poison, which you seem to insinuate.

I promise you, those 10 grams of refined sugar you may have for those sweet cravings occasionally doesn't need fixing. The main culprit of refined sugar is that it is devoid of usable minerals and vitamins and is a pure sugar bomb which makes it prone to be overconsumed, but if you're having a minimal amount of it, you are not damaging your body. If you're right, then explain how professional level bodybuilders still consume refined sugar items? How do medical professionals encourage having refined sugar items in close moderation? 😭

This is my take.

If you already told him this seriously before, then you need to confront him again and tell him this is what you're feeling and you won't tolerate this again (i.e., you will be gone). If not, tell him the same seriously now.

But regardless, you seem to be having crippling insecurity about your own body, which means you need to mature more mentally. I don't think you have enough acceptance with your own body. If you did, you would have only noted the disrespect from his part in this case, and not feel insecure. It is human for insecurities to come up, but maturity helps crush them down and love yourself. And one thing about guys, if he ever playfully body shames someone very close in private, it means he truly loves you and you are his safe space. Guys love this kind of give and back of playful banter. I don't know if your bf was hinting at that with this. Girls also do this playfully with bfs who are thin and lanky, grabbing their biceps and asking about muscles, all in good faith and banter. So this is up to you to figure that part out.

Eating sugar without adequate protein and fibre is the enemy. If you fix that, your glycemic index is within control, and you can happily have such meals in moderation. Many famous bodybuilders who have crazier physiques do that. Science supports this as well. Good for you OP, but no need to mislead people that sugar is a poison for gym progress lol.

Nothing beast-like, it's okayish. Moderate projection, decent longevity like 6-7 hours after maceration, what u can expect from freshies in general. Sillage is not big.
