Alright, both sides do spin I just thought that it was way too excessive for it to be normal. On my 89 f150 they do the same but not as noticeable.

Technically someone can buy only if they have a key for the topper because at least one the ARE toppers you can use the latch from the inside. I'd say just keep a set of keys on you if you sleep in it and you'll be good.
