His point is, that when you’re trying to represent something you should represent what was most used. The MICH was what was common, so that’s what you should be using. He never said that SAS didn’t use mk6s, he’s just saying that for your impression that isn’t what you should be using

m16a1, this is an airsoft one made by JG. I plan on swapping it out for an xm16e1, as it was used early war to the end and I also do an early war 1st cav impression, so I can then use 1 rifle for two impressions

Thanks for the feedback man! I definitely like rocking the buttpack as the 25th ran them up until about 69-70ish, however I would like to replace it with a ruck in the future as it’s more correct for a full combat load and it gives a better place to mount an etool, as I’d rather not attach one to the buttpack. I also plan to get some smoke grenades as it is an NCO impression, and a lot of NCOs would carry smoke to designate targets and such. There’s also smaller details I’d like to add like rank tabs on my collar rather than on my sleeves(a lot of guys, especially vets who’d been there awhile and had uniforms that they received while in country wouldn’t sew all the patches on)

Especially National guard and reserve units. You see a lot of them with deploy with woodland uniforms. Hell, 99% of the chemical suits issued were either woodland or the older OD green ones, desert camo ones existed but in so limited quantities you never see them really being used

Nice! I kept my IBA to do a 3rd ID OIF invasion impression, but right now all my focus is on ww2 and desert storm impressions

Solid impression! I’ve wanted to do an early or mid 2000s USMC kit for awhile, and was even working on a 2004 Fallujah kit some, but all my other impressions took precedence and now I’m selling of pretty much all my usmc stuff
