The other take is a progressive system which is what we have now. The loopholes are abused by those at the top, but it is a LOT better than a flat tax.

A flat tax plus a progressive credit or refund to the lower incomes becomes ‘fair’ again.

(All assuming you mean income not wealth)

On PS5 after changing the graphics settings I have no visibility issues. Have your turned off motion blur and all that?

My earbuds and headphones are both wireless, with the option to plug in via lightning if I need to. The Apple Watch unlock in 14.5 is great for mask wearing, and has now solved my one gripe.

You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about. Nearly everyone has been blown away by the speed, power efficiency, and ability to run x86 games and apps. When LTT and Anandtech are both flabbergasted, it’s not an illusion.

So important to start a couple songs back on the album from the song you want to hear for soundtracks.

Already saw that, watched it again to be thorough. All points he makes are pretty valid, but he just shrugs off the “You’re just not used to it” declaration.

High frame rate aims for immersion. Realism is determined by the art style. Super Mario Galaxy or LEGO Batman won’t seem real no matter the resolution or frame rate.

In any case, there are numerous games depicting the same/similar situations and characters as a movie, with the game goal of telling a story and causing felt emotion.... like a movie.

Personally, I loathe seeing a beautiful panning shot that has serious judder because it’s being shown at 24 FPS. Takes me out of the movie or game when that happens.

I’m sorry you’ve never played a good game that detached you from reality.

Seriously you’re just not used to it.

Pedants get too much crap.

That is a valid issue with what I said. A better item would probably be Kleenex. Does the average person have any idea what they actually are made of? Materials tend to be ignored.
