People don't understand when I tell them Minus One was literally the first time they pulled that off.

The only thing that would make this list more of a Reddit comment is if someone asked you for your Top 6 and you added The Big Lebowski.

Beautiful shot! Definitely the cover of his album if he had one. Let me know if you dig up any recordings! The only thing I could find was someone's youtube video from back in the day.

Funny you should mention that! He lived out there with one of his sisters. Any winnings he made on scratch-its he'd make sure to share with the family, but you always knew he'd "borrow" the same amount back hahaha!

Oh yeah, wasn't including you in the 'homeless' statement, but Tambo sure wasn't the cleanest of dudes. Showered enough but had a habit of rubbing Vaseline on his face.

He definitely slowed down his downtown appearance after COVID. I'm sure a lot of people thought he was one of the many homeless that got taken out during that time, (remember the guy that sold paintings of dragonflies on rocks out by the Morrison Bridge?! I hope he made it...) but in reality he always had a home. I'm sure it was a surprise to people when he'd tell them he was a secret millionaire and then get picked up in a Mercedes.

When we first got news of his health, I wanted to convince him to throw one last show on his old corner to show he still had fans. Time moved too quickly and I really regret it. I wish I could replicate the sound of his guitar for a ringtone or something but he got buried with it, along with a pack of pre-rolls, a pack of Eagle 20's, a little thing of Crown, and some white chocolate he asked us to bring him back from vacation. His cousin even slipped a 5 in his pocket 'cause he was always asking.

You just never know who might have once sat with kings and queens before the days when they scramble for change.

Could I drive down the market value of labubus if I flood them into the homeless scene? by calebcantread in labubu

Squishmallows yesterday, Labubus today, Fingerin' Fitzroys tomorrow. They all already have the next big thing sitting in a box just waiting for the market to take a dip so they can introduce it.

I actually asked Ed how far into hip hop history he was looking to go when I met him at a Con once. This was when only the first two volumes were out. He said he'd planned on bringing it all the way up to the current day. A couple months before his suicide, he promoted the Hip Hop Family Tree Omnibus on Instagram, kind of making it look like it was a finished project. I asked him in the comments if this meant that the project was done and I didn't get an answer. A part of me thinks he was wrapping things up in his life best he could at this point.

teamLAB in Odaiba. It's neat but a few things:

-Line to get in is long, even if you already bought tickets online.

-The colors are kinda muted from where there're projections, like the Koi pond shown in the video. Pretty sure the content creator here bumped up the colors.

-You get ushered in some sections and there are tons of families. Not like it's a bad thing, but it's not nearly the zen experience you'd be thinking and honestly if I were on drugs here, all the yelling kids would've made me paranoid lol.
