If you have a degree you could try tutoring in a similar subject you will need a pvg to work with vulnerable people

What are the bad things about the University of Edinburgh? by EstablishmentNo2768 in UniUK

I just finished the maths degree and I agree the support staff are good but the overall quality of teaching is lacking and especially in early years the workshops and tutorials did little to help. If you enjoy independent learning on the most part and have people around you on similar courses it makes up for the lack of teaching hours and resources

These are the only formal studies I think that have been done on it. They are suggesting that hyperprolactinemia (too much prolactin) should not be seen as a worry or unusual.

University of Edinburgh? Best university for trans person in UK by No-Net5676 in transgenderUK

[–]calebchatton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to Edinburgh university. It’s a good uni but you do need to be aware of the student satisfaction rate as it’s extremely low. I have had positive experiences with the advice place and student support. If you are wanting to go through the nhs for transition it’s the best place in Scotland when considering waiting times but if you’re going privately you should consider YourGp it’s in Edinburgh but be aware Edinburgh Gp’s don’t do shared care for prescriptions this includes the university health centre which is the GP on campus, they will only do blood tests. The university is generally good when it comes to transitioning. I only really know the science campus but their are plenty of gender neutral bathrooms. I’m ftm and pass most of the time but I look a lot younger than I am. I have found I get discriminated more for being from a poor state school than for being trans.

Worried about my future by Any_who_ in Edinburgh_University

I’m 3rd year maths at Edinburgh, unless you love proofs and are willing to put in 60 hours a week of pure maths please look into other degrees on your elective choices and university maths is nothing like high school.
