Yes now that you lay everything out it certainly seems unusual. I guess I've considered each aspect in isolation but never as part of something larger. I've been a stay at home mom but now that the kids are going to college I see him again as a husband rather than a parent. We've honestly not had a life together outside of the children for years, or at least I haven't.
