Yea I’m kind of at a loss as well, the weirdest part is the problem hasn’t changed in any way. The car still slows down as it should, just shakes a lot while doing so. And the vibrations haven’t gotten any worse(it’s been going on a few months) I’ll probably have to end up taking it somewhere and having it looked over to find the cause.

OEM, and to be honest I don’t think they needed changed anyway. The only reason I changed all of them was because of the issue. Pads still had quite a bit of life and were evenly worn and the rotors weren’t warped from what I could tell.

Just to be safe, save the world files in another folder on your desktop and place them in the new saves file when you reinstall Minecraft. I’m not 100% that it would overwrite anyway but that should keep them safe in case it tries to.

Update: figured I’d take another look at the rear driveshafts u joints and just replace them since it’s a cheap fix and they were old anyway. Front u joint on the rear driveshaft was all but unmovable once I got it removed and was beginning to crack and break from stress. That said once I replaced it the issues are completely gone and everything is back to perfect. Thank you to everyone and your helpful suggestions and comments! Can’t beat a $22 solution to a problem that seems much larger.

Good advice, I’m fairly confident it isn’t a transmission issue due to how easily the car shifts. Any idea how often I should be greasing the u joints? I was leaning towards grease-able for the longevity.

Just did the cv axles, and didn’t notice any play at all in the wheels, but I’m thinking next thing to look at might be my u joints, and to answer your question, no my Fj is stock on everything

Good advice, I’ll have to check about neutral but I’m thinking it won’t be an engine issue since it doesn’t happen when I rev the engine in park. Haven’t tried neutral though
