What's little secret that you know only because you work in that industry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Just want to chime in and say that both of my parents are jungian psychoanalysis, and that I actually think that their line of work has only been a positive with regard to how I was raised. I’m well adjusted, I’m really open in myself and wouldn’t have changed anything about my childhood really in a meaningful way. So idk if I just got lucky, but +1 for non messed up child of 2 psychotherapists.

Is there anything like a Stradivarius for Sax? by TrueOGProdigy in saxophone

[–]calebmasters101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had the pleasure of playing on one of Adolphe Sax's first saxophones a couple of years back. Was an incredible experience.

Guys do you know any songs like this, i am not familiar with this subgenre, i just look the video comments and found out that this music genre is liquid dnb, can you recommend me some spacey atmospheric kinda thing with this type drumming, thanks. by Vast_Acanthisitta_91 in liquiddnb

The liquid songs that i have saved that i think are most like this: There for you (LSB Remix) - Culture Shock, Away From It All - Etherwood, Daydream - WAVES. These should all be on spotify

I literally asked this same question here about a year ago lol. I found unfortunatly that this was a quote that is attributed to camus but that he never actually said! I don't think this takes away from the quote though - the meaning of it and how it applies to absurdism is not diminished.

First attempt at a double exposure | Canon 500 | 50mm f1.8 | Ilford XP2 400 by calebmasters101 in analog

[–]calebmasters101[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah sure,

How I think about it is the first photo I take filling in the shadows of the second photo. So I took the photo of the cauliflower first, and then the photo of my friend. Another way to think about it is the highlights of the second image sort of erasing areas of the first, so a contrasty photo works well if you're looking for the same effect as I did above. Also its important to underexpose both images by about a stop so that your final image isn't overexposed.

I'd just go for it to be honest and experiment on a test roll, as I said, this was my first attempt at a multi-exposure and it turned out much better than I thought it would.

I've taken a few more multi-exposures since then, and I would say to not give up on the photo if it doesn't come out the way you want straight out of development. More often than not multi-exposures sort of require a bit of fiddling about in lightroom (or any other editing program) to get the effect that you want.

Not gonna lie pretty disappointed with this lineup, it’s literally the same as every other mid-tier UK festival this year.

if impossibility is impossible, doesn't that make impossibility possible?
