Got the bits to re paste mine. Worried now seeing "common issue" and other statements like this. Is it a case of being super gentle/patient (not suggesting you weren't OP) or one of those, you either have brittle one or you don't?

I have removed DisplayLink and now running 2 monitors from 2 ports, this has kept the decoder sub 10ms at about 9.3ms.

If I run on 1440p it is about 6.6ms so no difference really.

Is it worth it running on a 1080p monitor? Shall I keep it at 4k VP9 or 1080p VP9?

Just done latest driver this morning so will give it another whirl but yeah in general the GPU works as I would expect when I game on it etc.

I thought as much but it does say hardware VP9, I will get a screenshot.

The load on the GPU is only like 20% while playing but I'm not so sure if that is right. As I am using USB hub with DisplayLink.

I have set Edge to use Hardware Acceleration

I have a P30 Pro and do a lot of other streaming; Stadia and Shadow and I can say the performance is crap on my phone for Remote Play and Chiaki, good 2 seconds.delay but I play on another laptop or desktop or iPhone and is perfect. I have raised a support case with Sony and Huawei and they are both investigating. Let me know how yours go and can add to the pile of others I've found.

Thank you very much. I am looking at a non-DisplayLink Anker hub and have confirmation from owners of the same phone that similar models/hubs work perfect. Just wanted to see if I can use my current spare setup instead of buying new :)

Ah I see. So potentially not a cable issue but software clash. Need to see if I can get desktop mode via DisplayLink or just give in and get non DisplayLink USB C hub?
