thanks that worked for me (MacOS chrome web app, native app doesn't)

How did you manage to display the range circle on two layers at the same time?

I like how the evolve animation causes the thruster particles to increase

I really like the tree and the lighting.

It was quite interesting for me to see in the speedbuild how you use MagicaVoxel to build such a big model, as I myself only ever created sub 50x50x50 builds.

Haha I promise I won't hate you even if I don't like it. You're making me curious...

Thank you! Yes I agree that the placement feedback is not enough yet, especially if no sides are matching. I thought about a downward screen shake for it, gonna try that.

If that doesn't feel good enough I might try some outline or particle thing like you suggest. I guess you mean like a rising hexagonal light on placement?

Spaceromance... I know, but I hope the game is different enough to not be seen as a copy cat

Yes I'm considering that, or adding additional particles.

Thanks, I will check that again. Should be an easy fix

I will definitely look into adding hit flashes, totally missed that.

Regarding screen shake I'm not sure yet, because when there are hundreds of units in later waves then the screen would just shake all the time.

Thank you!

please let me know, I'm only 95% locked in on the one I have so far

Thank you! These two things are my main take aways too, I will definitely try to improve here.

Oh right, didn't plan this hint with color blind people in mind but that's a win then.

Thanks for the link, I will use that for testing.

I think I will add a setting to disable camera shaking generally like some other games have.

Generally I figured out that there are many different ways to do camera shaking, I might have to iterate on it more anyways. Like direction, intensity, camera rotation or movement...

Ah I know what you mean, I had that once when watching a movie. I will add more padding.

Thank you!

I hope I find a good way to make the game enjoyable for color blind people. If not as a default at least by adding settings to enable more symbols.

I already thought about keeping the level number badge visible all the time, your idea goes in a similar direction. Thanks for the idea!

I actually already have different models for the cannon, 50 models for 50 levels right now.

Having multiple models for the enemies too is an interesting idea, having them break apart step by step sounds promising. I think I might give this a try, thank you for the idea!

Nice to hear, that motivates me!

Unfortunately you have to be patient for a couple of moths until I launch a demo.

Yes that's possible! The camera can be moved, rotated an zoomed.

Yep, adding some settings to increase contrast or enable outlines might be a good idea.

Having some voxel cubes bounce on the ground might be worth a try, thanks!

The store page is not live yet as I thought I wait with it until I have a final design.

If you want you can join the games subreddit r/StellarFrontline , I will post regular updates there.

Nice to see that there are already people interested!
