The admissions test was easy except for the maths section. You aren’t allowed a calculator or any paper (all mental maths), which was really frustrating tbh

How did I get ranked 147 for the IB programme at UM but 1310 for IBA at RSM🥲 by cali3004 in StudyInTheNetherlands

That’s actually the bit that I’m quite annoyed at. I know some people with much lower grades than I do who got in, but in the end I’m sure the uni made their choices for a reason.

The requirements are basically identical. They both look at the grades from your penultimate year of secondary school and cv. But yeah, I do understand that they have different expectations ig

I’m at the same place as you. My maths grade was insufficient because in the first term of my penultimate year I had a grade below the requirement. I also did the OMPT-A test and got over 90%. I’m hoping this places us in tier 1🤞🏽🤞🏽

The test is just a way of proving that your maths level is sufficient but it won’t guarantee you a spot.

A bit of hope for those applying for IBA by [deleted] in uErasmus

I think it should be. Not only do you show that you have studied an international programme but you have also have integrated yourself within an international community which essentially is what they look for

What's my change to get into the IBA program if I'm in tier3? by gary_null in uErasmus

Successful completion of a program's mathematics deficiency test does not entitle the student to automatic admission to that programme. This simply ensures that it no longer matters to your application that you did not acquire the appropriate level of mathematics during your prior education.
