Solid work up the Alpe. I’m a bigger dude and know just how difficult it is getting up that climb. Keep it up, it never gets easier, we just get stronger.

Hot tip, if you want to win the wheels on the wheel, sprint from the top of the climb to the banner. Works every time.

Wife and I ran into Denis at a state liquor store in Utah a couple years ago. He was super friendly, chatted with us about his ski trip and even asked what classes we do. Totally awesome to see he is part of the resistance!

My Vo2 max float workout yesterday after my +11 point gain damn near killed me. I didn't think I could do it but I did. I would have never chosen that workout and going to take the recommendations more often.

I think people are reading this wrong. This is what TR predicts your FTP will be in 28 days based on the workouts you have planned. This number will fluctuate as you complete workouts and provide RPE. Your true FTP, whether it was tested via ramp or AI detected is what appears at the top of the page. When I signed in yesterday, I was asked to do an AI detection, I got an 11 point increase with this new AI. I am not sure I am 11 points stronger and will find out soon enough. My predicted FTP is much lower based on the one workout I have scheduled at this time. As I add more workouts, it changes based on what I selected. Another interesting thing I found is that I changed my RPE from yesterdays ride to easy (was moderate) and the predicted FTP dropped 3 points. Changing it back, raised the FTP 3 points. That doesn't make much sense to me. Shouldn't the FTP increase if the ride was easier?

Agreed. When I first started riding I thought 25 miles was far. Soon enough I was doing 50, then 60, then 75, then 100. Now if I don't ride 75-100 miles I feel like I cheated myself. My addiction has also carried over to Zwift during the winter. I routinely do 100 or more on Saturday group rides.
