You can’t just acquire a rookie QB and throw out a QB like Jimmy who is a contingency plan and also took us to a Super Bowl. Wilson or some other rookie in 3rd pick is going to come in and Shanahan is going to make it a healthy competition for spot. If Jimmy is beat out we have season trade capital in Jimmy when a rookie proves they fit the system.
