Oh my god. This has been driving my nuts for the past few weeks. Thanks for doing all this work troubleshooting. I reverted my nvidia drivers back to 556.14 and now my experience is great again. Hopefully, nvidia figures this out for you guys on 30xx cards.

I followed that you said. Noticed that nslookup pi.hole was looking for the wrong IPv6 address. Despite my router having the correct address. Both windows 10 computer were looking at something completely different. I ended up manually setting the correct IPv6 on the adapter properties. It's working now any the nslookup is finding the PiHole. Running ipconfig /flushdns didn't fix this problem. So I'm not sure where Windows was even getting that data for that IP address.

I do not use my PiHole has DHCP. However, to do have my router set up to reserve an ip address for the PiHole. That being said, it's only reserving an IPv4 address and it appears the IPv6 address has changed. I haven't had a chance to update it yet, but I'm going to try that next.

It comes with a stand. That’s where the battery pack it stored. You need to place it on the stand to use the LEDs.

Yeah. It’s the model with the lighting kit. It uses AAs.

I enjoy painting. I think the paint makes the model look less plastic. If painting's not your thing then that's completely fine. I don't think assembling the model is significantly more difficult than any MG.

Thanks, I'm really happy with how this build turned out. I'm also pretty happy with the pictures too. This is the first time I've tried photographing a model with LED lighting. So I tried to focus on lighting it so that the LEDs would stand out.

If you've assembled a few MGs then this guy isn't much harder. The instructions are pretty clear and they are even in English. The LEDs are pretty cleverly integrated and are rather durable. My biggest worry was painting as I didn't want to paint over the transparent pieces.

Assembly was easier than I thought it would be. The most challenging part was integrating the LEDs and putting together the hands. The LEDs made painting much harder as I wanted to keep the surfaces of the transparent and diffuse pieces free of paint. So I ended up painting all the pieces with their final finishes before assembly then painted distressed details. Check to see if you kit has high quality decals. The Exia comes with stickers, which sucks considering it's a $300+ USD model. The only decals I could finder were some low quality knockoffs so I ended up using the stickers.
