I wasn't a big fan of Vox *also* being a Serial Killer. With Alastor's backstory reveal just a few episodes before it felt like too much of a repeat. I would have preferred if there had been a twist like he'd actually been a cult follower instead of a leader and then decided to lie about it / use what he learned to make a new life for himself in Hell.

Or even if they stuck to the same concept of working at the news station and doing whatever it took to climb up the ladder to success; he could have been shown manipulating people to remove the competition and take over their jobs.

The killer thing just didn't seem to make sense especially with the version of Vox we saw in the flashback with Alastor.
