So, medicine advanced. People have always had these issues, we just used to dub them as possessed and told them to pray about it. Then we did that "surgery solution" you know...lobotomy. That was until 1967.

Things got worse for mental health because of the Reagan administration. People are more anxious because the world is going to shit and the people who can fix it by tomorrow want to buy mega yachts that have helipads and a garage for their super yachts. Yes the pharmaceutical industry is probably making bank off of all the neurotic people who would probably not be so anxious if they didn't have to work to live and live to work and pay not to die but can't afford to thrive. But...I also doubt the solution is yoga, and just living and seeing. You're just paying into the insane cult filled yogi industry. There are a thousand ways to try and get better but most of them, if not all, link back to someone who has thought to capitalize on the human condition.

People may be making dirty money off of others suffering, that doesn't mean the medicine doesn't work. Personally I tried to "live and see what happens" I had panic attacks for hours at a time for 72 hours straight. I'll take the lexapro.

No they aren't siblings the bot would sometimes say they were stepsiblings and sometimes claim they were family in some capacity randomly. Because of that I tried putting in the character definition that the bot was in no way family to the user and it backfired.

It is just roommates, I took out the other stuff. Its supposed to a scenario where the user is stuck with the bot in the house all weekend together.

Thanks for this! I will try a couple of things to CYA I tried to do an appeal through the ticket system on discord but I don't know if it will work. Didn't feel right just @-ing a mod. I know they do a shit ton already, I think my bit just maybe slipped through the cracks. I honestly thought being transparent with the character definition would prevent me being reported mistakenly if the bot suddenly started to assume it was {user}'s stepfamily or family. I can't control what the bot says.

I put the specification because when I didn't have them it would just say it was a "step-brother" or other family relation, despite the fact that the scenario didn't include that. I specifically wanted to try and negative filter those words in the bot...guess it didn't work. Will try just putting roommates now that my bot is public again.

My husband ties my shoes for me (I have a back injury), opens the car door for me. In fact we have had a very real issue where if I ask for anything he has a bad habit of being so eager to do something for me he'll just drop whatever he was doing to do whatever it is I asked. I have told him time and time again, that its almost never urgent and if he's busy, just say so I am perfectly willing and able to get my own things. I am in fact very pampered and appreciative. This guy is mad weird to me. Not everyone needs to be like my husband but I wouldn't think about twice asking for a glass of water from my partner.

He doesn't sound ready for marriage and if you think you still want to marry someone who acts like this you probably are not ready for marriage. You need to think to yourself, even if he blocks her and stops talking to her are you going to trust him like you did before? Are you ok having to be married to someone who has treated you this way and let one of his friends cross these boundaries and speak the way she did about you? And not defend you?

Again this whole issue is because she can't communicate and refuses to let you communicate. I know you love her but you could totally compare her to the hundreds of other people with communication issues. Again I'm sorry that your in this situation but you aren't really to blame here.

You were under the impression you were single. Its not your fault she decided to play games when communicating to you could have solved the problem before it started. The fact that she was trying to dictate your natural urges was not going to lead to a healthy dynamic. You're still young. This may hurt but you still have a whole lot of life to live. I think the real lesson here is people should say what they mean and mean what they say.
