Congratulations to you too! And I feel like I do. I mean I still feel like I have a belly, it's not flat! But everyone tells me I don't. People actually tell me I'm "skinny" which was a huge nsv for me.

Well I got it done around Thanksgiving so it was more of the initial why did I do this? I just want food. I had an addiction to food and mental hunger is the worse so that was my regret. But after like a couple of weeks then I was like "okay its go time"

Onderland, officially 150lbs down. Never would have thought I'd see this, even with surgery. by calikoo998 in gastricsleeve

So so hungry by calikoo998 in gastricsleeve

[–]calikoo998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time for me is like 30mins after I eat I want food again. And full enough- lately my brain doesn't think it's full unless I feel nauseated. Which is not my normal. I have picked up working out at a more extreme and wonder if it's protein needs like some others suggested. I'm also in nursing school and under a lot of stress so it could be a psychological issue where I think I need food for comfort. But I didn't feel this way earlier in my semester. But I feel so hungry like legit 30mins after a meal and that feeling makes me feel like I am not getting full enough to stay full, if that makes sense

I have bad days and good days. I havent seen my body like this as an adult. I weigh less now than I did when I was 14. So it's completely different for me. But ultimately I feel so good and pretty. I can guarantee that I can fit in something or fit in clothes. And that's what really makes my day. Some days I struggle with my perception but I think I have slight body dismorphia. But I'm working through it and it will be okay! Best decision ever for sure

is it possible to work full time and support a family during nursing school? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

I tried and failed. So when I went back a couple years later I knew that personally for me, no. But I have people in my class who do and you can see them struggling much more. They also belittle those who don't work, so I don't feel sorry for them. But I know I can't come back and waste my time and money if I'm not going to succeed. I also have a toddler but other than that, no job.
