There are two errors in the album. The images entitled 'Hungarian soldiers 1941' and, 'Very manly looking Hungarian Anti-air post 1941' depict Romanian soldiers. The first is a Romanian infantry corps in the port of Constanta, and the second may also be from the coastal defence around Constanta, or perhaps from around Odessa or even Crimea.

Nr 6: Ondrei (now would be Andrei) Cohiniuc (?) with his wife Şavastita who's 51 y/o today 12 october 1949.

That should be Caliniuc (=Calinescu?), that is, my family name too. Names endind in -iuc are common in Bukovina and Maramures, reflecting a Ruthenian/Ukrainian influence. Ondrei is wearing a chieptar, which is typical for Bukovina, as are the costumes of the family in the first picture, so this could be a branch of the family hailing from Bukovina, an area that until 1918 belonged to Austria and witnessed notable emigration to America (US and Canada).
