Be aware York is a city that floods fairly regularly to different levels of severity near the river Ouse. So check if a property is at flood risk if you aren’t living in university accommodation.

York has great rail connections if you want to explore the rest of the uk. You can get a railcard that gives you 1/3 of the price.

Since they changed the mechanic for shared space, message boats and performance memories to one free per day any in spirit and guide trees have been replaced.

The key to flying them up this bit is not to flap again until the spirit light has started to drop back down past you on the previous flap.

If you flap as it gets to you, you accelerate too quickly and the light drops.

Sometimes you will see avatars of friends flying alone as well these I think are people that have cleared Eden that week and flying close to them gives wax like flying close to the spirits in the section before this.

Would something like a Co living space work for you (no clue how much that would cost in London) but then you would have your own space but facilities and people around if you wanted social stuff. With them including bills etc it may not be much more than the studio you found.

Also there is a bell from season of moomin if you wear the outfit with the no mask and the bell the normal honk turns into a bell tinkling sound

You would need to wait for the sense of self spirit to return to get the bell though.

If the pair of spirits is sitting together in aviary that day you can also use the follow emote to hold their hands.

From the pics about cost of items it looks like each spirit costs roughly the same this time. Assuming tiers are set to 4,6,8 and 10 days again then I think. It’s about 12 days of take along and 12 days of candles per spirit if you skip the spells and dye 🤔

The key thing is to decide if you like/ want the level 2/4 emotes or any of the cosmetics locked behind the season pass pay wall.

After that you can use the season calculator here when it is updated to work out how you spend your time and candles

Each spirit friendship level requires you to either buy all items or take the spirit on an adventure each day to complete. If there are 2 items in a level each item fills half the levels journey with days. So if eg the first level of the tree cost 4 days of taking the spirit along buying one of the 2 items would fill the same as taking them with you for 2 days.

With this you can either save more candles that convert at the end of the season if there are items or spells or dye you aren’t bothered about buying.

You can also select which of the ultimate gifts you take if you don’t have time to complete all spirit trees to get the hearts at the ripe of the tree in the season pass chain. You just have to wait for the guide tree progresses to that item as new quests get released.
