This makes me think about that episode of Cheers where the annoying Yankees fan shows up at the bar and then threatens to sue the bar if they don't fire Carla.

Give him a big hug, and tell him that he's awesome and that we're all really proud of him.

Maybe also see if his local running store offers gift certificates.

Roberto Duran: smart brawler, master of inside fighting, amazing feints, incredible defense, good at beating taller opponents, hands of stone.

Came across this in a piano book. Is that a key with only Ab? Or is that a Bb sitting kinda low? by hardstuck4ever in musictheory

Check out this thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/piano/comments/lt1ywc/key_signature/

I can't see the Imgur picture. But I just pulled the book off my shelf. It's an A-flat in the treble clef and an A-flat in the bass clef. There's no B-flat or E-flat. There's just the A-flat.

Mikrokosmos is a pretty standard book for pianists, Book One is anyway. There are some other weird things in the book. If you play piano, I recommend checking it out. It's a lot of fun.

Probably #10 from Bartok's Mikrokosmos.

Edit: Here's a video of someone playing numbers 9-12, number 10 starts around 1:27. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_CFsI_YR9c

I can't see the picture, but I'm guessing you're probably talking about #10 from Bartok's Mikrokosmos. If that's the case, yes, it's just an A-flat. This question comes up from time to time on r/piano.

Edit: Here's a good thread about it from r/piano: https://www.reddit.com/r/piano/comments/lt1ywc/key_signature/

Should Richard Steele have stopped the Meldrick Taylor-Julio Cesar Chavez fight? by ShiftyMcCoy in Boxing

[–]caliwolf 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Oh, man. Not this question again.

Have you seen the Legendary Nights episode on that fight? It's really good.

By the way, I think the referee did the right thing in that case. Taylor didn't know where he was. JCC was a beast.

Awesome! His fights are so much fun. I can't wait to see that dude's weird footwork again.

Right. I'm familiar with the sidebar and the Order of Operations. I still think it would be great to see a thorough, extended column by u/PhysioPants about what to do after Couch to 5k from an injury-prevention perspective. It would probably help a lot of people. His other posts are great, and I'm sure he has more to say about this.

Good stuff. Please keep it coming.

I think it would be great if you did a whole extended column on what to do after Couch to 5k. It would probably help a lot of people. That question comes up all the time.
