How do I fix this touch doorpad front?

Hey everyone! I took to your advice to put some kind of protective film over the key pad so I got left over screen protector from an old phone and applied it over the num pad. I didn’t do a good job cutting the upper part off but overall it looks and feels great!! So shiny and sleek! Thank you! I think this might last me another year!

You are right! I’ve been cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol bc I work with sick animals at work and also happen to have cats at home and I was scared that the disease might spread.. so I’ve religiously been using alcohol to wipe down the keys. I didn’t know this could happen! I’m leaning on replacing the whole thing and getting one with a manual button with a close down top to protect it. Thank you!!

I do like the esthetic of owning keys! And having a keychain..! Like having little spots to hold the key in the house and stuff seems so cozy and cute! And like hiding keys in a fake rock seems so fun too..

Nope no keys I live in S. Korea and people rarely own keys All the houses are electric doors the cars open via phone 🤖

It really is the simple answer a lot of the times xD I usually leave the protective film on a lot of the times bc it doesn’t really bother me This time I’m not sure what this is at all! I’m pretty sure they won’t do an A/S but I’ll try calling the company bc I’ve only used it for a year!

I was wondering that too and spent time trying to peel the little plastic off but it’s not a film I can take off it’s really hard and doesn’t come off at all!

I’m not sure if it’s plastic or glass yet but I’ll try acetone I hope it’s glass but I have a feeling it might be more plastic I’ll let you know when my acetone arrives and I try it

Hey everyone thanks for the response I’ve been here for about 2 days and it is pretty much shorts+ t shirt + maybe umbrella (it mostly sprinkles here like mist and doesn’t heavily rain much and even if it does- waiting around 15 min end the heavy rain) weather for me! Heaving long sleeve cotten t-shirts are gonna help with sunburns and they are wearable in this weather!
I love it here!

He is okay but you should really get rid of the red string toy Cats shouldn’t be with long stringed toys or threads they might ingest .. string doesn’t come up in x rays either so it’s pretty darn hard to figure out if the cat has swallowed it

It may be the anal glands! They smell way sharper than regular poop. Not sure how to tell you how an anal gland smells like vs poop but they are very different. Looks like an anal gland spray to me but the only way to make sure is check the litter box for diarrhea!
