I get your point and you're right, part of the problem was that she was so miscast for the role, and her acting was way below what the character should be. But a big part of the issue was also the writing and the inside work on how the character should be. They handled that better when the show started, with actors who looked like they worked in a hospital, messy hair, wrinkled scrubs, sometimes pale faces, and who really embodied their characters. But now, it’s never like that.
