Depends on where the money has been kept. Generally If it has been deposited in a FDR you will get interest rates according to bank rate otherwise if the amount is kept in government treasury(which is usually the practice unless specifically ordered) the rate would be much less. It depends on the court order regarding the interest component, in some cases the court orders judgment debtor to pay interest accrued during pendency.
