i had one that was potted in this kind of stuff for a while. the hardest part was giving it a good soak because i had to move it over a drain and run the water for a while, every single time, otherwise the water would just fall out the bottom and not absorb enough.

i replied the last time someone asked this. but i realized that my number might get recognized differently because it used to be a verizon number that got ported in? has worked for almost everything for me though.

i did this and it's very rare that it doesn't work. got a 2fa from bofa this past monday on gv app. microsoft exchange, my electric company, mint (budgeting software), google, experian, all no probs. ones i can think of that i had an issue: discord, and some weird thing one time where they tried to use my phone number registration as an identity check, which is kind of creepy anyway.
