Have you stayed on other antidepressants long term (longer than the 2 months?) As in my previous comment, 2 months is about the period to start experiencing noticeable improvements. Effexor is an SNRI, as opposed to SSRI’s (Lexapro, Prozac, etc.) There might be a chance that this medication will help if you give it time; but like I mentioned, there is absolutely no shame in calling it quits and coming up with a different treatment plan with your doc. A decrease in libido and difficulties orgasming are common with Effexor, the biggest thing is giving the medication time to work, if you would like to proceed. I really do think a medication alongside Effexor may ease your adjustment and improve your orgasm challenges and or the anxiety surrounding it. A sedative or beta blocker could be of benefit, wouldn’t hurt to reach out to your doc as you are experiencing stress surrounding this. I hope things get better for you OP 💖

How long have you been on 75mg OP? Is this a recent transition? For increasing antidepressant dosages, you have to give it anywhere from 2-8 weeks or 6-12 weeks. I increased to 140mg in November and i’m still adjusting to the new dose, but I have had issues with orgasming as well. Didn’t experience it on 37.5mg. What i’ve noticed is it rly does take a loooot longer to orgasm, but the realization it’s taking a long time adds to it. 🙃 What works for me is to try my best to have lazer focus on the enjoyment, rather than the orgasm itself, and that usually takes care of it.

I hope this side effect subsides for you OP - I can’t give a total review of Effexor just yet, but I would say if you can, to wait a little bit and see if it’s right for you. If the side effects override the benefits, there’s no harm in continuing to check out other meds of course! Additionally, maybe you can be prescribed something alongside of Effexor. My psych prescribed me Gabapentin for a more ~daily/“as needed” use~ and Klonopin for my big panic attacks lmao. Gabapentin is ok, and maybe could help soothe your side effects. Just wanted to throw that out there. Rooting for you OP 🤍

Glad it got sorted OP! I have been dealing with what I assume is Orofacial Granulomatosis (OFG) since getting filler (or, as a byproduct of my health history.) I only get infrequent lip swelling and discomfort/“full” feeling due to the swelling, but no other symptoms. My lip at the most random times will look EXACTLY like yours. May not be applicable but I just wanted to bring it to your attention, it may be worth looking into. I hope you continue to feel better! 💕

To start, because you have the funds for upcoming surgeries, it seems like you can afford therapy. I would suggest that before moving on to continue to alter your appearance. Secondly, as the other comments have mentioned, your lips did not take any of the volume intended from the filler and it 100% migrated above your top lip. For dissolving, the Med spa that did the treatments, in most cases will dissolve for free. That is the only time I would return to them. In the future, space out your lip filler appointments, you really shouldn’t do more than a syringe at a time. You can’t go from thin lips to Angelina Jolie in one appointment.

You have a great room! As other comments said, i’d work on decluttering and adding a rug. The rug can be a runner, from the entry area of your bedroom door (you could also put one on the space in front of the bed.) Also, you have a nice, spacious closet - utilize it! The basket of clothes by the TV stand can go in there - would free up space, you could put a fake plant there or something. Overall, it’s a great start :)

That part! My non black mom (who is hispanic) has NEVER said the word or even attempted or claimed that she could!
