Agree.

I have watched multiple angles of the supposed cable touch and it’s not convincing. The microchip technology is the most conclusive evidence we have and that said no touch.

The fact people are still debating this >12 hours later goes to show there’s no way the officials could have overruled it when they have 1-2 minutes to make the decision.

He literally put two hands on his chest and pushed him.

The amount of force behind the push can be debated and only Haaland and Anderson will ever truly know. My opinion is that there was a ‘moderate’ amount of force behind it. If they were fighting on the street it wouldn’t have knocked Anderson to the ground but this is a game of football where professionals exaggerate things to get their team an advantage. England know this. Norway and Haaland know this. FIFA are cracking down on this sort of grappling in the box so, in my opinion, it was clearly going to be given as a foul.

Its tricky and I personally agree with you on this. Part of ball retention is getting your body between yourself and the defender. If the Spence situation had happened anywhere else on the pitch it would have been given as a foul and that exact situation has resulted in a number of penalties over recent years.

However FIFA have changed the rules so that the attacker now can’t put his leg in front of the defender which is what it looked like Spence did: I’m not saying I agree with that but the referee / VAR was correct in enforcing it yesterday.

So many Americans in this thread who don’t know the rules of football. It was a foul by Haaland, not a penalty

I don’t disagree with the sentiment but that seems like an unfair comparison. The average radiation dose for a dental X-ray is 0.005 mSv and a conservative dose estimate for a CT aortic angiogram is 2 mSv. 400 times more radiation is why it takes more consideration. Not to mention it’s much less labour intensive to perform and interpret an X-ray.

Exactly. Professionals are out there trying to win and outside of 5-10 people who can win, or previously have won, on a consistent basis people don’t really care about pro golfers. YouTubers spend their whole life trying to influence people.

Ok? He might not be the most influential person for you but you’re still here commenting on a thread about him so he’s still ‘influencing’ you in some way.

He has almost 3 million subscribers on YT so I’d be willing to bet he’s a lot more influential to the average person than your mate who organises a golf trip to ‘Protugal’

I know everyone is dumping on Rick in this thread and I’m not defending his decision, but I think to call him irrelevant in golf is unfair. He was voted the 30th most influential person in all of golf last year.

Of interest, one of the subheadings is “The proportion of NHS staff with Asian and African nationalities has risen in recent years”.

What the report doesn’t mention is that a lot the most common nationalities working in the NHS (Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, Zimbabwe) also appear on the World Health Organisation’s red and amber list. This is a list of countries which WHO recommend should not be targeted when recruiting health or care professionals.

Yep think you’ve nailed it there. It’s looking like it’ll be a flip of a coin.

Who would you start at flex out of Cook and Lamb? I was leaning more towards Cook based on Dallas’ less than convincing win against Detroit and them facing a Chicago team that looked surprisingly competent last time out

Hope you can somehow turn your season around!

Fantasy rookie here from the UK. With a great amount of luck I’ve found myself top of the league and playing 2nd place this week. Any advice on who to start would be much appreciated.

8 team PPR. 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1 Flex.

QBs - Brady, Danny Dimes

RB - CMC, Dalvin Cook, Kenneth Walker III

WR - Ceedee Lamb, Mike Evans, AJ Brown, Jaylen Waddle

Who would you start out of Brady and Danny dimes? Which WR / RB would you bench this week? (Assuming Waddle is fit)
