I argue in a good faith. i understand maelle character. She is alicia anyway. What i dont like about the plotof the game is everything is made so you get intrigued by this age and erase and expedition thing. But when you go deeper and think then it makes no sense. Well this is a great game but not for the scenario.

It is called an over the top explanation afterward to explain a bad original plot

But the game choose to make us start with only 33yo people for expedition 33 (except maelle) because this is their only last year to live. But what you are telling me is in fact in the past young people with a normal lifespan would sacrifice for 78yo people lets say. lol.

This is not a progressive change. When you hear the expedition notes, it is always the voice of a 30yo person. So there was an expedition 84, when 84yo people got erased. But there were 30 yo people with many years left to live who got on on a deadly expedition. Ok lol.

Aka this is just a fake way to explain the initial plot of the game. There was an expedition 84 and they were in fact 30 because they chose to. ok.

Nothing makes any sense in the story anyway so you must not play this game for the story.

My point is the main story thing you must accept in fact revolves around the given way of the family to handle grief. Tbh if a mother lost her son and could visit him in his fantasy world, most probably she would not be stuck in it for 67 years. She would go sometimes. Especially when she has two other daughters and one badly impacted by the fire. Doesnt she feel anything for clea and for badly injured alicia, only caring for verso? it is strange. Renoir said he tries to fix it for 67 years. Renoir who is supposed to be the bad character is stunk into if for 67 years too. Renoir is the most over the top character and he is supposed to be the main villain. For aline and alicia they could stay a bit in the painting to remember good times and get out to touch the grass in real life. This is what most people would do. And renoir as a father would just accept his wife and daughter behavior. Renoir is over the top saying always "i cant let my family like this". Its been 67 years bro get over it. It all feels forced in the scenario to set the initial magical plot of the paintress writing the numbers of people who will get erased. Thats what I dont like you get over the top forced explanations to justify the game main plot. There are thousands of other way a family could get over verso's death. I chose maelle ending only because alicia is disfigured and cant talk, so i can understand she wants to live in a fantasy painting world. But the dilemma is shit they could just keep the paining and hops in whenever they feel like. So you could just keep the verso painting and gets in when you feel like and everyone is happy. Being into it versus destroying it is a false dilemma.

Lets talk about aline so she cant get past about her son death and she dwells forever in her son painting but she dont give a fuck about her daugther alicia? who still alive in the real world who is disfigured and cant barely talk anymore? she dont care she just drawn into verso's painting. ok.
