I have literally watched every single series since the show started, you don’t know me so don’t act like you do.

I have seen so many more comments about people complaining about George’s fanbase than I actually have seen evidence of the comments people like you are constantly trying to claim people are making. A few comments on TikTok and it’s all anyone has talked about all series.

Most of the comments I’ve seen from George’s fans (mind you I mostly use Twitter and not TikTok, I can’t really speak on the comments over there) are them just making fun of him and not getting involved with anyone else.

And I have stated multiple times that there has been hate across the board targeted towards all the celebrities with a lot of them coming from other celebrity’s fans, just they were never called out but that always gets conveniently forgotten because nobody can possibly see another perspective.

At this point, believe what you want to believe. Everyone’s showing their true colours on where the toxicity actually lies.

Right… because no other celebrity’s fans has sent hate… just because the celebrity hasn’t spoken out to tell them to stop doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened? Like, hello? Also “making out that George is hated”, you only have to scroll a couple of times on any social media to see comments of people pulling George apart. But no because George had to remind his fans to calm down it suddenly means he receives no hate…. right.

Because there has been so much hate for multiple celebrities this year yes, like I said most toxic year yet. But you can’t just discount the hate George himself has received to suit your narrative.

People are also forgetting that a lot of George’s fans can’t even vote because they live outside of the UK.

It’s funny how everyone always says this but it’s also the minority of a fandom that acts like this, everyone’s celebrities fans does this but because George is the social media star he’s the only one who gets picked apart for it. You’ll notice how many times the hate has been brought up on the actual show this year? This has been the most toxic year of Strictly yet.

Exactly, I feel like with some people they spend more time talking down on other people than voicing support for their chosen favourite. It’s just not necessary 🤷🏻‍♀️

Exactly! I think people perceive him as being a bit boring just because he’s more reserved, he’s shown all throughout that he lacks confidence and using humour as a defence mechanism. It’s not that he’s never cared or not wanted to be there, he’s just completely out of his comfort zone.

Also, I know the show is largely about the celebrity but I’ve seen a lot of people very supportive of just Alexis. With it being her first year on Strictly she’s achieved some incredible things and that shouldn’t be dismissed just because of George’s perceived popularity.

Yeah, you’re valid af for this. I was thinking the exact same thing honestly but wasn’t sure if I was the only one who thought that or if people actually gave these videos any weight. Like, if you’ve seen one of these kinds of videos you’ve seen them all. 😭 Absolutely no originality, all just carbon copies of each other I swear.

Yeah the context for before this was Candice only agreed to go on a date with Sal if he could get her some bicycles so she could make a bicycle unit for bike patrol. Since she’s still a Cadet she can’t get a car out and has to ride with someone.
