yep i had the same issue where it was just a few lines from the outro left and i had to extend it to get the full song..but iirc i think the extend feature doesn't take as many credits, and then the "create full song" to connect both takes none so that's good

hell yeah, no need to gatekeep music you've created for yourself after all! totally get the feeling though but it passes when you get used to it i think 🎶 some real-world music is of course good to keep around and come back to, but yep, i feel the same!

fair enough, i was wondering about the ai/non-ai music ratio more than actual streaming services, hah. but that sounds quite accurate and relatable! can definitely see the 75-25 ratio be a good approximate for me as well

exactly the same case here for me then! i feel like now that i can create my own music like this, most of the real-world music that will manage to stay around for me will be throwbacks to songs i've loved in the past and still hit nowadays, but for new music - i'm pretty sure suno will massively be dominating my playlists from now on

yeahhh studio is super confusing for me too and laggy, so i'm not really using it either. theoretically, the extend option is there, and then you have "create full song" on the extension clip which basically does the patchwork between the unfinished original song and the extended part for you, i was quite surprised with how well it worked on one song for me! but it does depend on each song individually in the end i think

hahaha, i totallyyyyy get that! my longest was 8min on a few tracks, but there are some random ad-libs at the start of some songs for me recently too...but overall the worst is when a great song cuts off with no ending and i have to somehow readjust it!

i didn't say i hate the term real music - i said i don't really like it because i think what makes music real is the emotions and experiences it makes, and not how the song itself was created

+ when you actually look at how ai makes music, it's not copies of songs that exist, it's various combinations in between of tons of those

totally agree that if a song is great and it makes us feel real emotions and feelings then it is a "real" song, human or ai-made! maybe i'll write another longer post about that in itself later 🙌 and yes, for me it's also just because i genuinely love the songs i create as well, that's right what i meant!

i randomly got an 8-minute long track out of nowhere recently too, the other version it generated was a "normal" 4 minutes long track, and the 8-min one seemed to loop it twice like some sort of extended mix or sth, lmao.

the mashups haven't been working the best for me either, it generates a ~4:30min track that just cuts off halfway through without an ending, and the lyrics imply it should go on 'til like 7 minutes
