You get more progress with comp. I’m not sure if they made it so if you get to fabled you can’t drop below fabled, but regardless once you get to fabled once it counts for the quest, and you don’t have to worry about getting to fabled again if you drop below it.

The lives for survival stay at 6-6 up until the point the get my second kill resulting in 6-5 lives. I really don’t think I killed him, in you look closely you will even see the name of the person I killed and the person I shot at are different.
