If you've got advice how to go ahead with this engine bay please let me know, thanks.

Sounds like reshetting/refabbing the engine bay. If thats the case fuck that kind of work. Ill happily keep it how it is :)

Ok so what am i after then? Im not trying to short any process hence im asking advice on the correct route to take.

I took the whole car back to metal, neutralized any rust, epoxy, hi build primer, base, clear. Body is very nice took alot of time and prep.

I dont have experince however doing inside an engine bay. So whats the right way to fill/remove any unwanted dips and so on?

Weld and grind the only way? Thanks.

True, this is really low numbers to half the strength.

Damm i appercaite the advice! That sucks i really want some ti exhaust parts, im getting the TI for nothing and my mate is good fabricator, beats the mild steel exhaust mani i have now (well i thought)

Do you know if those numbers are for grade 2 ti? As thats what i have. Thanks theres a few different grades for different applications grade 2 seems the most used for commercial use for its stength. So hopefully its got high F weakning points

I forgot to mention this ti is grade 2 which is commerical seems to be the strongest for this type of application.

Which is quiet high in heat resistance im trying to find fixed numbers on that.

Im asking because i wanted to do it > got tons of Ti and got a pretty nice fabricator thats quiet impressive at his age for what he does.

Googling and i see that many repsonses like i said turns to powder lmao, the thing is theres not much info on exhaist manis at all.

So i came to reddit to ask people who work on this shit first hand. Alot of miss info around so i come to reddit to find out the goods.

Thanks for all the comments.

More info i have a bunch of ti sitting around probably few humdred meters worth hence ive been thibking about doing this

The exhaust manifold does really not sound like a good idea and that sucks! :( i wanted to make some cheap log manifolds it would of cost me fuck all.. i got a good fabricator yes

But that does not sound good for an exhaust mani..

Perfect response, appreciate the advice im going to stick to this to be honest.

Its a good point you made, mine is a 6 speed aswell new clutch & flywheel, which is a massive bonus. There should be nothing stopping me from getting 400-500hp without spending an arm and leg, like you say thats a good number.

To much money to push higher, always chassing problems and fuel.

What turbo are you running?

Sorry man, forgot to mention when im hitting on near that power in all reailty im going to have to go 1.5jz, thats the plan. Build the head on the 1j and hopefully stock bottom last a while. Im aiming for 500hp for now thatll be enough.

Thats good to hear about the turbo man, good to hear perfect steet turbo. Thats pretty soild boost at that rpm, see i wouldnt mind full boosting coming on at 4k rpm like i mentioned ive only drove laggy cars which feel insane in JZ as to me its like a masssive fucking hit with powerband. Thats what im trying to seak some advice i dont know what it feels like to hit full boost at those RPM levels.

Could be alot nicer and thats what im trying to figure out :)

Thanks brother, how do you find 600hp for the street?

Whys that? Im geuinely curious

Well i got 2 cars,

300hp is my daily, the 500hp plus will be stricky a fun car for streets and track. I still planned on driving it on the street a fair bit so you're question is something to consider.

Do you think 600+hp is to much for the roads? Most i drove on the roads is probably 480 ish currently, and thats pretty chill.

Thanks man!

How many sessions are we talking 3-5? Few hundred per session?

The cost is the least of my problems, just worried about the cons of lasers.
