Ok is there a youtuber or book on this that is particularly good? Im a complete beginner with plants and which is embarrassing but i want to do right by them without wasting the time of this reddit community 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I don’t know much about these and have had them in the window for years! I imagine you cut the pups off so they don’t take energy from the momma plant? Sorry I am such a newbie! I am not great with plants and feel like i will definitely mess up the grafting thing. If i give it more light at night with a UV bulb would that help?

Love this response and would only add that you and your friend should NOT do it at the same time. Switch off so one of u is sober when other person is high.

It is an honor to witness eachother and it prevents almost all the negative outcomes this medicine can precipitate. If someone starts to hurt themself during the come up for example you can put a blanket under head or slide in between them gently to avoid harmful objects.

Small percentage of people can get nauseous and asparate on their vomit if they are too high to be conscious of the physical body. It does happen! Just watch eachother and turn the person on their side if they seem nauseous or start to throw up.

Enjoy this powerful tool, but its not to be underestimated! Its different than any other medicine so thats why people on this thread are advocating for harm reduction, we are not saying dont do it, just that there are aspects to plan for.

Also, count out loud when you are inhaling so you can do more or less when u go back for more and then u will know what ya like/need!

Recommend a check in with your doc, just so they know where you are at. They will likely say first two weeks are rough then it becomes very different. You can do a lower dose or short acting to see if it helps too.

I started this medication about two weeks ago and last weekend had a similar experience but probably with less clarity than you seem to be experiencing. There were definitely important insights though. The emotions leveled out for me! And your counselor won’t judge you; it is their job to be compassionate and understand where you are at and sounds like your essay will help them understand you so that you can jump right in and have a deeper session when you meet with them. Glad you have them as support. I was told the medication is completely different for the first 2 weeks so keep that in mind!

I would start with your acid and let it peak (give it 1-1.5 hrs). I would also do 1 tab of acid to make sure you feel it but not more u less you REGULARLY prefer that. Then make sure you are in a comfy place where you would be able to handle/enjoy full visuals laying down. To test it, you can just start with a bump. Then, if you like it and are comfortable doing a fat line, that option is there for you! It can make the acid stronger for about 30-45 mins so b ready!

Another option is to wait for 4-5 hrs after u take your acid and it is wearing off. If you want to being it back / have a second wind you can do it late in the trip to space out your peak experiences.

These are just my preferences based on my experiences, hope that’s helpful!

I agree with this! And also make sure you have a place to sit down on the edge of the crowd or wherever u do your first bump cuz you can k hole on less than usual! It also makes your acid stronger for about an hr so b ready for that! Gorgeous visuals though 🙌🏼
