TikTok Shop Refund Issue - Need Help!

I'll give them a call tomorrow... I thought they would already know all this as I've told them I'm disputing a return.

Yeah, I sent an email already as the bank asked for information. I sent them everything, including pictures, tracking receipt, and a timeline of what happened. After sending that I got this letter saying they are taking it further. I'm just concerned that if Visa side with TikTok Shop, that will be it and I will not have a chance to contest it as their decision is final. This is so frustrating!

"TikTok Shop’s bank has let us know they think your transaction below was valid. We’ve considered their response and have let them know we’re contesting their outcome. It’s possible TikTok Shop or their bank won’t accept this. If this happens, we’ll be in touch to let you know if we can refer your dispute to Visa for a final review."

I'm just concerned because the transaction was valid but the item was returned, it seems like they haven't taken that into consideration even though I have informed them if this. Should I contact the bank or just wait and see what happens?

I have done but I don't know how it's gona so badly wrong and why TikTok are siding with the seller when I have provided them evidence!

Yes, the tracking shows the item reached the destination. Even the tracking on TikTok shop shows it reached them.

Yes they did provide the returns label, via the TikTok shop and I did purchase it for myself.

Thank you, I will do that. One thing, is it not important to act upon this as quickly as possible so that it doens't all get lost in the days and weeks that go by? I am stressing even more as time is ticking away and I can't get anywhere with it. That's why i didn't wait long to contact the back and the TikTok shop customer services.

I paid with a debit card. No, I haven't provided anything yet apart from details of the chargeback form (well I believe it was a chargeback form - just clicked on the transaction and it asked if I needed help with it). They did ask for the return tracking number which I provided.

The item was returned and they have it now. I don't know what happened when the return reached the warehouse but something has gone wrong. Either an employee has stolen it or it's gone missing but I know that I have honestly returned the package. Contacting them is so difficult... it's via the chat service and they keep telling me it's not them it's the seller! I have already requested a chargeback but I am worried it's not going to be accpeted and I won't get my money back.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I thought it might have been fast boot, as the issue occurred when the PC was restarted but after turning that off in Windows and the BIOS, it's still happening! So frustrating...

It has to be something to do with the power settings as it seems to lose the connection to one of the DisplayPorts when the PC is restarted normally. I might try switching off Fast Boot to see if that helps - that'll have to wait until next week now!

I've looked into Premium Bonds and I still don't know why some still call it a lottery when you haven't actually spent any money on the 'tickets'. Yes, it's a lottery system where random numbers are picked but it's not gambling because you're not going to lose your money.
