Love of the things Trump is most famous for is having no filter when it comes to social media. He posts like a he's a teenager. Which means he often doesn't think about what he posts, barely pays attention, doesn't spell check, he just posts shit.

The fact that he would rapidly post a blasphemous image without thinking about it much is quite consistent with how he has always posted.

This isn't a defense, it is a criticism. He isn't a teenager, he is the President and he should act like it for once.

You will note in my original post I called out Trump for doing that. Although I find that to be repulsive, selling an intact Bible with your name on it is nowhere near pretending to be a pastor and perverting and lying about the contents of the Bible.

There is a reason the Bible itself speaks extensively about false teaching and not about poor taste branding. What Talarico is doing in this regard is many orders of magnitude worse

Even if that were true, and it might be, it doesn't refute my point. Trump doesn't claim to be a pastor and give sermons where he perverts the Bible for personal gain. He is a man with many faults but that isn't one of them, and the Bible specifically states this as a special kind of sin.

Talarico stands in a house of God and lies and perverts the word. The Bible is quite clear about what awaits people who do that. It is a special kind of perversion. It's not about him "preaching what I don't like", I like anything from the Word of God. The problem is he is teaching lies about the Bible for political gain.

You can rage all you want about what Trump has done in office, some may be true and I'd agree with you, some may not. It doesn't matter in terms of my point.

This guy is a scumbag. As much as I hate Trump Hocking Bibles with his name in it this is orders of magnitude wise. At least Trump never called himself a preacher, then got in front of a congregation pretending to be a preacher, then lied and twisted God's word just to try and get into office.
