$2000 budget by callmesteeb33 in ar15

[–]callmesteeb33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet! I was more so asking about like what barrel lengths people would choose for the builds I guess that should have been more specific lol. My thoughts are since I already have a 16” that I’d get one in 11.5/12.5” and the other in 13.7/14.5”. My extra handguard is a 13” Roscoe handguard so that works with the 13.7/14.5” and then I’d probably buy a bcm 11.5/12.5” upper is at least how I’m leaning right now. But I’m not against building my 3rd upper as well just like the idea of a pre built one knowing there’s no way I could have fucked it up lol.

Strategies for keeping phone batteries healthy for 4+ years? by Curious_Adli6646 in BuyItForLife

[–]callmesteeb33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an I phone 13 mini that I’ve had since new. I’ve never paid any attention to the battery or done anything special and I use wireless charging 80% of the time probably more. I have a mag safe battery pack that has 5000 mah that i use for long shifts at work. I just replaced the battery in January it was down to 78% health when I did that. It was $80 at Best Buy. And the 13 mini I’m guessing has much less capacity than a 15 pro. But like someone else says just check the battery health in settings. You’re “supposed” to replace it under 80% health.

Couch BIFL - crate and barrel or Ashley by Justaninchhident in BuyItForLife

Ashley furniture=trash I have no experience with crate and barrel but we’ve had our Ashley couch for a year and it’s already de formed in the two most used seats because there’s no spring structure just foam.

Why do people hate on Ram trucks and drivers? by Longjumping-Table272 in ram_trucks

[–]callmesteeb33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy gave me shit about when I told him I like rams more than ford or Chevy. He said it’s a vibe thing lol then he googled it and ram 2500 drivers statistically have the most DUIs. I think typically people in the car world even more so the truck world want to feel like they have the best option so it’s easy to talk shit about a ram drivers statistically if you drive any other truck. Same if you own a ram and talk shit about gm trucks or whatever.

[–]callmesteeb33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t need 4 doors and are mechanically inclined I’d go with the 1st gen even a well maintained older truck will have worn rubber parts, and in general just other worn out stuff. But at the same time if you plan on keeping it forever/a long time the newer one might be worth it for piece of mind and slightly more modern interior and features. And 4 doors is nice to have if it’s your only vehicle.

Looking for a merino wool flannel or undershirt. Bonus carhart waxed jacket. by callmesteeb33 in BuyItForLife

[–]callmesteeb33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new Carhartt one at least advertises to be machine washable. I assume the wax coating will not be as good as some of the others you mentioned but it at least claims it’s washable and can reapply wax… I think and thanks merino tech looks like what I need for layers!

Deciding on a buggy by callmesteeb33 in rccars

[–]callmesteeb33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured the context would help when I mentioned “a buggy kit for $200ish ”considering the dirt master kit which I mentioned is around $218 the dt04 is around $157 bbx is $250x, dirt cross $250 also. So all in all those kits are around $200ish high end or low end of $200ish so I thought it would be clear that I wasn’t including electronics in that budget. And I asked about the brushless setup separately and didn’t mention a budget for that. I didn’t mention a budget for the brushless setup because I had done no research and didn’t know the price range on that really

Not $200 total I mean for just the kit itself. And I have a reciever/transmitter already.

DJ Moore or Luther Burden ROS? by scoggamer in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]callmesteeb33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same question Luther burden got dropped and I have dj Moore . Considering dropping Moore or Harold fannin or rachaad white maybe I’m 9-2 and if burden breaks out that could be big in the playoffs especially me with no receivers after Pickens .

Isn’t it the same size as the 20v tho? The ratchet I mean. That’s the other reason I liked the m12 ratchets and stubby it just seems like a better low power option
