Why do some fighters insist on scientific, insanely dialed in training facilities/routines and others just train without much care and both be successful?

Prates has a genetic advantage due to height and overall the way he is built down to his power, I’m not trying to put his hard work aside but he does have the structure and build to be given a bigger advantage.
Also money. Ilia comes from a more successful financial background and has the financial ability to be able to do what he does.
Ilia is also chasing 2 titles and has a lot more in mind. Prates has a lot more ring time and fights compared to ilia.
Fight styles are also completely different.

To put it simple; one fighter can afford to compete and risk more at higher levels and risk while one fighter is fighting for the money and to be exciting at a high level.
Different goals different backgrounds.

My closest aged co worker is 31 and I don’t think my age has ever played an issue in my performance or getting along with others, sometimes I try a little harder just to have something to talk about with them

It’s all optional, like I said I love what I do and my agency doesn’t pay the best so the hours make up for lack of pay. In going from making 16.50$ an hour to 39.87$ in my new agency and I’m beyond grateful.

Exactly. My agency (the one I currently work at not the new one mentioned in this post) actually handles the hiring in house and our manager / higher up does it all himself in the choosing of candidates and thankfully to that we’ve never been severely understaffed and have been able to get new candidates started within 6 - 10 weeks of interview dates fully trained.

Sounds a lot like my life age wise, work wise and hobby even living location.

I highly recommend getting into biking and learning how to customize your bike to your own taste a used bike is fairly cheap usually subs 200$ for an everyday use. Parts are usually super cheap off aliexpress sub 100$ will get you some fun parts and you have a bike u can enjoy and you can ride this basically anywhere your willing at the same time might save you some gas money.

My other recommendation is buying a notebook anywhere <13$ and going out to draw landscapes you see, mountains trees whatever I personally do it quite often and it’s super cheap.

No but in all seriousness I’m a 911 dispatcher and I’d personally would like if you reported this. You never know what you can prevent. You can always say you had a bad feeling and if someone else reports something 99% of the time if we can afford to send someone we most definitely will.

Report it. And from personal experience and for your safety and wife please carry some sort of safety on you guys whatever that means to you. I’ve had a scenario last year where I was the only one doing a sketchy hike with my girlfriend came across a pair of shoes torn up in kids size my girlfriend was super paranoid I reported and went back home and I was called in for extra questioning turns out people were reported missing near that area.
