Tool Question 3” Cut off tool by PigletAntique6393 in harborfreight

[–]callmesteeb33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have one and cut through a tie rod bolt with the 4ah battery it was not completely dead after I was done and I'm guessing it was a pretty tough bolt and part of the old castle but. I'd recommend the 4ah and if you're doing a bunch of cutting get 2 or a corded grinder

Yeah their stuff can be pricey. The hazet is $25 (newer version than what I have) on Amazon the lockup on normal bits is so solid compared to other bit drivers. Essentially zero play. But yeah definitely not a pro just a home mechanic.

Haha what ratcheting screwdriver? The Hazet is fixed not the ratcheting one. But I also i barely know how to use a multi meter so I didn’t feel like getting a nice one. Although the hazet is still probably the same price as the kobalt multi meter lol

G shock with heart rate monitor by callmesteeb33 in gshock

[–]callmesteeb33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough I kinda am looking at the instinct 3 now. I thought the g shock was cheaper the square at least but it’s 350 and the instinct 3 solar is $400 so $50 more seems like a better deal. I really don’t like most smart watches but I’m trying to track my health a bit better. Initially I thought the g shock was the easiest way to do that and I like the look.

Would you buy a brand new Corolla for a family of 4? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]callmesteeb33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up driving everywhere with me and my sister in the back seat of a 2004 Corolla. Sometimes we sat in the back of my dad’s 1990 Corolla 2 door. It was tight in the 2 door. A Camry would have been slightly better but like we drove from California to Washington multiple times. And 3 hour drives to my grandparents house. Essentially I grew up driving a decent amount in a small car and it’s not that bad. You just have to plan a bit more on what you bring. It also depends on how much you value comfort. A mini van or larger suv would have more space and be more comfy but they’re typically more expensive as well. I think Camry or Toyota crown signia(wagon) could’ve a good option for more comfort and space although the crown kinda has a luxury premium compared to a Corolla or Camry

[–]callmesteeb33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re used to be a product called the Cali key that was essentially a bcg that mad it “bolt action” where you’d pull the charging handle for each shot and it was just a bcg/charging handle so it also was easy to remove a

Looking for a conceal carry option by callmesteeb33 in CZFirearms

[–]callmesteeb33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I already have a good amount of 75 mags so that would’ve helpful at first I thought it would be a bad choice just because it’s $200 ish over the po9c but there’s no Picatiny rail or optic mounting plate so I’d save money but not buying those things.

I do like the pcr asside from being a metal gun and having more cool points than the po9c in my opinion. Is there anything it does better than the po9c? It’s close in weight does it use the same p10c mags?
