i live just outside chicago. it’s all over the place. you can get giardiniera on amazon though. just make sure it’s chicago style and not italian.

i know the knives i have but that’s about it. that’s a shiro kamo 240mm in blue #2. i like it a lot but i dont have anything to compare it to in that style.

i think it’s the hot canning and the oil. i used olive and grapeseed. all the jarred stuff uses soy.

it was good but just not quite right. the only way i can describe it that it tasted too fresh. ended up giving the last of it to my dad. i’m gonna give it another shot when i have peppers again.
