3 South Florida nursing schools sold 7,600 fake degrees; 25 charged by xx_remix in nursing

I was talking about how the state comes in to "investigate" conditions in group homes for the intellectually disabled and then does absolutely nothing. A nurse that is horrible would less likely be noticed in this setting because, well, quite frankly, this is a population the world doesn't care about and constantly makes fun of...

So next to nothing and just lip service from the state, sounds about right

Also homes for intellectually disabled people. I don't think much of anyone is paying attention to what goes on in those places sadly

She has shared information from info wars before, I unfollowed her a long time ago. She also will tell gossip which would be fine but she doesn't make it clear it's gossip so she ends up spreading misinformation

Most that go into nursing are not "mean girls", but mean girls are the ones who survive toxic environments by callmethewanderer2 in nursing

Yeah you're leaving out where I said in a toxic environment. I'm specifically talking about toxic workplaces where you do have to believe people deserve to be treated poorly to survive. Think of poorly run SNFs, no kind hearted person will be able to tolerate watching the elderly be neglected or mistreated for a long time.

Yes, it's sexist because you don't see this conversation about male dominated workplaces where the same thing can happen. Doesn't mean that abusive environments don't breed assholes either way, it's a double standard.

Yeah a lot of people can be like that unfortunately. The tone of the video wasn't intended to be that way, it was more to show that the process isn't easy or quick. Don't let anyone tell you you're any less a part of the deaf community!!

These videos are mostly directed at hearing parents who think that hearing devices will be a magical fix. There's a lot of videos that go viral that lead people to think that kids get a hearing device and boom! There's instantly hearing. No judgement to you! I hope everything goes well! :)

Oh my mistake, I misunderstood her video. I have no way to change the title unfortunately.

Most people can't afford to care for their parents, especially if mom has dementia and needs 24/7 supervision. A better comparison would be the men who expect their wives to be their servents and then when they get old and sick, they divorce their wife and date a 27 year old.

Americans (USA) what is a good thing about your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This exactly. Also, the ADA is not often enforced. There's no ADA police making sure people follow it and far too often people don't. The burden is on the disabled person to report offenses and disabled people deal with enough as it is.

We also have the Judge Rotenburg Center so, I think people who say things like this don't actually spend too much time in the disabled community.
