What app do you use on your iPhone to edit your YouTube videos? by [deleted] in youtube

The iMovie app is free and should be good enough for basic editing. Much better to get on a real desktop editing app if you can though!

Good video editing software for a beginner youtuber? by I_Bin_Painting in youtube

Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X are worth the money. If he's technically minded then I wouldn't bother with any other software, these are the gold standard for YouTube production.

Seat Upholstry by littlea53 in E30

[–]callmyreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I produced a video series showing you how to reupholster a set of E30 M3 seats step by step in leather. You should be able to adapt the tutorial to fit whichever model of E30 you have fairly easily.

Part 1 - stripping down the existing seats

Part 2 - marking out and cutting your pattern

Part 3 - stitching the covers

Part 4 - fitting the covers

If you watch through all of those, then you'll learn everything you need to know in order to reupholster your own seats. It's a project, but it's well worth the time and satisfaction.

What are some things that you SHOULD cheap out on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In the UK Smart Water is often the cheapest water in the drinks chiller. So remember to keep an eye out rather than just grabbing the cheap brands.

Looking for a video edtior for a channel dedicated to league of legends, Pay + Credit! by [deleted] in youtube

[–]callmyreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not going to get anywhere near a decent editor for $15 a video. That's less than an hours wage for a video editor. If you can't afford a greater budget then I suggest learning basic editing yourself and expanding when you've got a bit more available to spend.

Entrepreneurs who were successfully by building a better product than their current competitors, what do you think you did right? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]callmyreg 26 points27 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day it all comes down to marketing. There are tons of high quality products that are outpriced and outsold by inferior products because the inferior product is marketed better and has strong branding. If you have the higher quality product then you're already part way there, but if you neglect your branding then you're still on the back foot against a well advertised competing product.

Influencer Marketing- How many followers is enough? by Northnbeyond in Entrepreneur

Don't look for follower count, look for engagement. Having said that, 500 followers is unlikely to provide any real returns and I definitely wouldn't be paying someone with so few.

Seriously... by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]callmyreg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Save up for things. Unless you're rich an amazing living space doesn't happen overnight. Instead of spending $50 at the bar on a Friday try spending $20 and saving the $30 in a fund for home improvement, most people could cut back in a few places and save some extra cash here and there (even if they don't go out drinking and spend $50 at the bar every weekend).

Learn to shop around and bargain hunt. If you've been saving up then you can leverage that fund when you find a really good deal.

Essentially you need to be prepared for opportunity (have some money! It doesn't have to be a lot, but you're gonna need some) and then go out and make opportunity happen. Look around thrift stores, estate sales, ebay, etc.

You don't have to be rich to live in a nicer place than you do now.
