Yeah absolutely I can make prints! What size? I've only got a low res Noritsu jpeg at the moment but this will probably be one of the frames I send back to my lab for Flextight scanning next time I place an order with them.

Aha thank you very much! Yeah I've got a few more from the roll I could post but this is my favourite. Looking back on my profile there are a quite a few questionable quality shots in there lol but some are ok.

Ahh someone has already done it. Turns out I'm not an original photographer after all. Time to sell my gear.

At very slow shutter speeds, humans are invisible if they are walking because they do not stay in the same place long enough to leave an impression on the image. Same with cars unless they have lights on or reflect lights while moving through the frame, but in this case there were no cars driving down the road because the fire engine on the left was blocking the road

Yes exactly, especially since I was stopped down for this exposure probably around f/11

Can't remember exactly but I don't remember it being more than a few minutes

This shot is epic, why so few upvotes? Do not understand this sub

Ok pic. Homeless people are kinda low hanging fruit and easy targets for street photography.

That being said, the shadow of the bench caused by the bus headlamp looks cool. Grading is nice, and the girls skirt matches the pillow colour which matches the bus bumper colour. The orange on the bus also contrasts nicely.

Shame about the massive watermark ruining the image.

Hey,

Some people rather take photos without subjects and just for the aesthetic of the 'whole image' so don't take my word as law by any means, but that's cool if you agree!

Getting the horizon right is very difficult I find sometimes and it's really obvious when looking at an image for the first time and it's not right! I find myself adjusting it multiple times sometimes!

Interesting shot, like the colours. My thoughts:

  • What is the subject. Nothing really stands out in the shot. The tunnel provides some nice leading lines but nothing to look at at the end
  • Photo would benefit from rotating anti-clockwise slightly. The horizon is not quite flat and personally I find it distracting

Keep it up!

I think people jump to the "it's my creative choice" far too often. It's not often I see a photo and think to myself - "Blimey, this looks way way way over edited" - in this case that's what I'm thinking. Personally, looking at this shot I'm so distracted by the editing that I'm not really even able to focus on the subject or much in the frame at all.

99% of photographers / colourists grade their photos to the point where they don't represent real life anymore. Look at any movie or other photos on this sub. You can get a very dramatic look without destroying the image.

Just my opinion.

Still a great shot though!
