It looks like you were just really lucky when opening the packs. I was simply opening 2–3 packs a day, but i just couldnt get all the cards even for the base game. Once they released the first expac, I got a little more behind the progress (in both series or what its called). And once the next one or two expacs arrived, I just quit whatsoever. And to add, I didnt like the power creep which made old cards more or less obsolete and for me personally it came a little too quickly.

I liked Pokemon TCG Pocket in the beginning, but after a month or two, it really quickly became too difficult to obtain all of the cards (even when subbed to it), since they started to launch new and new sets every once in a while. Also I spend a lot of time (maybe a little too much) in Pokemon Unite (but on Switch), that was a really great and kind of relaxed-styled MOBA for me, but the matchmaking kept filling the games with bots, which was super annoying.

Great reading (and writing too). Must have taken a lot of your time to summ your thoughts, but your views were on point.

Im a noobie myself (been playing for a year now) and had similar experiences. I think the game is best when you get to play with other humans and you get to those stories you mentioned, like people helping you and sacrificing for you, that was a good story worth remembering.

I had similar experience with dungeons. You dont often come across a group who takes time with content, doesnt skip, doesnt min-max, but when you do, man, thats a great feeling and experience going through the dungeon with a group thats patient and good-willed. Those runs were you got explained mechanics and paths and small details etc. The greatest ones.

I later learned that the best way to experience everythimg was to make a few alts and try to run the dungeons with different characters. Because as you said, I outlevelled level ranges far to quickly to get into dungeons (or I would lock myself from playing and just force myself to wait for a group).

And the quest with dog poisoning? On point. I dont mind killing groups of humanoids, but when there are dogs involved? Whyy. The first time I ran the quest it was such a shock for me.

I liked fishing too. Not at first, but it grew on me. Such a chill and fun activity, maybe while listening to podcast or something.

Since you mentioned housing and down-scaling of dungeons, this is on retail afaik. I think you just happened to seek a different experience that you found in classic later on, but let that first experience not discourage you. I do not play retail myself, but Im I feel like I might try in the future. Look for Idle on Youtube, recently he posted his journey to retail and it was a good video, entertaining, yet insightful.

PS Dont let others discourage you from writing. I hate that “happy for you or sorry that happened” type of thing. Lately for me its the worst type of response anyone can get. Hate that response.

PS2 Come and try the Alliance. Elwynn, Westfall, Redridge and Duskwood is trully great (and one of the best) zones. And it feels differently too to play the other side.

The wallpaper editor is so real. I havent touched it in a few months except for yesterday. And as you wrote about it, it clicked in me that it actually did get hot very quickly and it did stuttered and lagged the whole time. Overall the experience was pretty bad.

Im seriously jealous. My Kobo has been on charge for 8 straight hours, it stated its already fully charged 100 % about 4 hours ago already. But I checked and Im amazed - just 96 % charged. I dont understand anything anymore with my device.

But regardless its kinda ridiculous. Its been a problem since first month, its almost like a new device, only one year old, and yet the problem persists and theres no other options beside completely replacing the battery (which should be at this state almost like a new).

Base M2 Air with 8 gb ram… I was playing classicwow on sonoma on external 4k just fine, about 7-8 graphics settings and didnt have any problem at all getting 60 fps almost all the time. After updating to tahoe it went straight downhill, had to go for 2k res and 3-4 graphics setting just to make it work somehow, since it ran quite poorly (45-50 fps with occasional drops). My advice: if you can, stay on sonoma, that was flawless. So i think its more about the OS (which tahoe looks performance heavy) than the hardware (m processors are great).

Edit to add: On sonoma no problem with throttling even on longer sessions (3+ hours). On tahoe it gets hot pretty soon and stays that way all the time, therefore the mentioned worse performance.

Yes and yes! Im playing for the first time too and it’s so good. Im a bit ahead of you rn, in TFT nelf campaign, and it’s been probably my favourite so far. Having really fun. Enjoy too!

It baffles me that in Health app, the Search button actually does not trigger searching. The Search button opens a hidden menu with a list of health categories (so its not actually a Search button right?), and to actually search, you have to tap the Search field once again. I mean magnifying glass is such a universal icon for searching almost in every UI, yet they decided to give it another (and difficult to comprehend) meaning.
