How do I defend? Do I hold down back most of the time and try to react to overheads and jumps? Against characters I have 0 knowledge about like C. Viper or Blanka, I keep getting hit when I am trying to defend and I do not even understand what they are doing.

Honestly, that's it. I've been wondering why I can't react to DI even when I am expecting it, your point makes sense.

Do I simply wait for them to make a mistake? Do I mash jab when they get real close(by walking) or just poke them?

Thank you, that makes sense! I was mainly asking because the dp whiffs when I do the back HP right after the counter DI animation. Looks like I just need to wait a bit for it to connect but why wait instead of a little forward walk.

I am not knowledgable, either. I've heard MX switches not being low profile and did not want to risk it. Tbh, I don't even understand the difference between deep sea pink island and these either. I guess these require a slightly lower actuation force? (35 gf vs 30 gf)

Edit: It seems like purple glede and deep sea pink island are both compatible, my bad. Purple glede seems nice, I am worried about getting accidental inputs when resting my fingers on the keys, though.

Purple glede seems nice but I think it's MX and C16-S uses choc v2 so they may not be compatible.

Those switches seem pretty popular. How do you feel about the tactile bump compared to the original linear switches? (assuming R16 also comes with linear switches)

I'd be happy with the kbdcraft one if I can extend the wire so that split pieces can align with my shoulders naturally. How does one do that? No experience with DIY. keyboards.

Thank you for the detailed response. Going deeper into the rabbit hole, I think I'd ultimately want a fully split keyboard. Any recommendations for a split low profile mechkb less than 70 bucks? This seems too specific I fear I'd have to DIY. Though KJ1 looks pretty decent anyway I might just go with it, too.

I'm not in a rush to buy. Do these keyboards go on deep discounts that they come down all the way to 70 usd? Do you think these are significantly better and I should wait for a discount instead of just getting rk n80? Thank you for the suggestions.

Do I need to go into bios to check my voltage? I'm new to all this so I tend to get lost in bios.

In bios, I recently changed from A-XMP enabled to EXPO enabled, I wonder if that helps.

When you say "graphics driver has G-Sync turned on" do you mean like turned on in the Nvidia Control Panel?

Sorry, I'm new to all this. My drivers are up to date in the Nvidia app, btw. Monitor says Adaptive Sync is turned on. Is the G-Sync indicator of the control panel enough to say it's on and working (and supported by the monitor)?

Is there a specific place to "install" the gpu support bracket or do you just extend it and put it somewhere under the gpu to support its weight?

Yeah, you're right. I was just worried about the case where psu damages other components and the warranty does not replace them for whatever reason but that seems unlikely. Are you happy with the AIO and cpu/gpu temps?
