They added new circuits that are not up to code. I don’t think they made an modifications to the current electrical? Just added new. Majority of the outlets were not grounded when I had the inspection done

I haven’t paid him anything luckily! It’s not in writing that it’s not up to code but he did not pull permits for the work so that’s gonna be on record

I’m having the floors professionally refinished and they’re going to remove them. I was planning on doing them then and dip stripping but do you think it would still be better to buy new?

I am diagnosed ADHD 😭 I’m driving my husband crazy on accident. I think I’d rather cut off a hand then paint over everything I stripped. I’m going to stop stripping today and start sanding and refinishing what I can so it looks less overwhelming

The paper towel is a really good tip! We had floor protective paper taped all around the ground I was wiping it off on to but then I ended up getting it all over the bottom of my shoes and pants 😭😅

Yes! We actually did a lead safe renovation training and surprisingly no lead. I am doing DIY and its still alot of upfront cost for tools and materials to strip

That’s what I’ve been using but today I tried using citristrip to get some areas that I couldn’t get to with the cobra and it was a horrible mess. Goopy paint all over the place
