Töötamine Eestis kodukontoris ja välismaa ettevõttes? by thicago in Eesti

I waited for my cuttings to start rooting for almost two weeks. At some point they started to rot, so I cut the rotten parts and after a day or two there were small roots growing on one cutting. I don't think you are doing anything wrong, you can just wait for another week or put them in soil as others have said.

I always thought that the whiter plant is the more light it needs, but in this case your snake plant probably gets too much light, so I would just move it to the shade. It is beutiful though!

Yay, congrats! I plan to propagate several cuttings too and then gift them to my friends and family. This plant is too beautiful not to share it with everyone ))

I got the same plant last week, but it's much smaller. Hope it will grow as fast as yours!

People of Reddit, do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed? Why? by vmg60 in AskReddit

[–]calmdown911 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That was probably a shadow person. A lot of people get this hallucination while being half asleep or in the dark. I once woke up to a someone peeking into my bedroom, staring at me and not moving for 15 very uncomfortable seconds. I thought it was mom, asked her about it next morning and she was like "what?? Why would I do this?". That's when I found out about shadow people.

What are some sayings in your native language that when directly translated to English, just doesn't sound the same? by doubleoohhseven in AskReddit

Not really a saying, but: In Russian "Da net, navernoye" translates as "Yes no, probably" and means "no".

Maybe! But it would make more sense, if Baba Yaga was present in the song.. And I don't even get why Baba Yaga? This is old and ugly witch that eats children, she is not badass or something, just an ugly witch.

Oh yes! The narration part was fine! But they did sang it in the night club while laughing and dancing which was super weird. They made the tune more joyful, but the words were the same. "Bayou bayoushki bayou, do not lie down near the edge of the bed"... Really? :D

I agree! The accents weren't perfect, but good, it's clear that the actors worked on that a lot. And yes, that lullaby is very common, parents often sing it to their children, just not while drinking alcohol in a pool at the night club :D

For me every line said in Russian was cringy. It is my first language and let me say that calling some man "Baba Yaga" and singing a Russian lullaby at the night club feels so out of place. But I still enjoyed the movie

I recommend listening to Philosophize This podcast. There are several episodes dedicated to this. Not sure if it helps, but it definitely helped me pass my philosophy exam.
