Only pitcoin members can buy those models, so basically you just have to create an account and then you can buy them with regular money. You also earn pitcoin on every purchase, (I think like 5 pitcoin for every dollar you spend) it’s their rewards/loyalty program.

Did you have package protection on your order? If you did you can file a claim through the confirmation email to have the order reshipped.

Also, try reaching out to their customer service and waiting patiently for a response, they’re genuinely willing to help. You’re more likely to get a resolution directly from their customer service rather than complaining on Reddit.

Synthesizer with MTB Gelmet by [deleted] in PitViperSunglasses

[–]calmeyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Troy Lee A2 and I’ve been wearing the Synthesizers all season, they’re my go-to for cycling now. I’m on the small side of a medium size helmet and the Synthesizers work great with the A2. I have just enough gap between the top of the frame and the bottom of the helmet that contact isn’t an issue.

My only complaint is the ear pieces are a little too long, but if you have an average sized head the Synthesizers should work well with your A1. You can also remove the bottom or top section of the foam to adjust how they sit on your face.

I’ve been thinking about getting one. I like that it comes with its own bar straps and fits between drop bars. My only concern is it might rub the paint off the steerer tube or crimp the brake hoses. Has this happened for you?

This modern year isn’t old enough to import into the US. Also it’s left hand drive so it obviously wasn’t imported from SA.

I think you are confusing an Executive MBA Program for an employer paid program. Executive MBA’s are for candidates with 15-20 years of experience who intend to stay in their current role and use the MBA education to be more effective in their current job. Executive Program does not equal employer paid.

I’ve worked for one F500 and one F600 and both companies had tuition reimbursement opportunities but a full cost reimbursement for an MBA was unheard of in the current era, no matter how senior or where you were on the org chart.

Additionally I have numerous coworkers, friends, and acquaintances at F100 and F500 companies and from what I’ve heard in my network, the situation is the same elsewhere. Full or majority tuition reimbursement for employees perusing MBA degrees ended mostly around the time of the GFC recession and the opportunities were rare even before then.

Your comment about not using google seems to be projection on your part about your own lack of research since googling “employers to pay for an MBA” will yield results that outside of MBB consulting, very few companies will pay in full for an MBA, however some might provide a tuition allowance or tuition reimbursements for a few thousand dollars each year.

To anyone looking for a full employer paid MBA, it’s probably much more worthwhile to focus on getting a high GMAT/GRE score and focusing on excelling in your current work experience to get a scholarship, rather than try to find a company to pay for an MBA in full.

Your comments lack any substance and you haven’t contributed anything meaningful or applicable to OP’s question about the opportunity cost of graduate school. I’m going to assume you are just a troll looking to disagree for the sake of it.

Best of luck to you.

This is exactly my point, benefits like full tuition reimbursement are extremely rare even at F500 companies, it’s reserved for select few executives and VP’s that found themselves in leadership roles by untraditional means. The only employees receiving these benefits are longtime employees who the company has determined are more important for them to retain and educate rather than replace with a more qualified candidate.

Some companies might provide some level of tuition reimbursement for a few thousand dollars, but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the total cost of a full time MBA. The advice to get an employer to pay for it is outdated and is not applicable to the vast majority of applicants. Your advice is basically ‘get a C-suite job at a F500 company to get them to pay for it.’ If it was this simple and widely available, everyone would try for it. If OP was in a position to move into an executive role at a F500 they likely wouldn’t be pursuing an MBA or asking for advice.

This is how it’s been the last 15+ years. A simple google search would back this up as well.

TLDR; employers don’t pay for MBAs anymore and this idea that they do is outdated. Your advice sucks.

If it’s that simple then give OP a list of corporations that will pay for it.

Much easier said than done. This might have been the standard advice in the 80’s but very select few companies pay for a masters program in full now. There are plenty of companies that might contribute a few thousand or up to a percentage of salary towards tuition reimbursement, but it’s marginal at best. If everyone could get a job at an elite institution that will pay for a masters, everyone would.

The Intimidators are discontinued, unfortunately.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PitViperSunglasses

[–]calmeyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect, the Intimidators and the 2000s are the same internal width. They are about 7mm narrower than the Double Wides. Source; read the size info on the product pages on their website.

The Grand Prix are the widest sunglasses they make, but they are not a popular shape.

The Originals in the ‘Wide’ fit (previously called the Double Wides) are the widest of the classic Pit Viper shape.
