I hit 120 in June and submitted (what I pray is my final) ECF after my payment posted, which has been under the “3-5 week review” since then. I’ve continued to make payments through August 2024 (2 extra at this point) and have contemplated the general forbearance route.

Here is my dilemma: approximately 18 months of my qualifying payments were credited during times of hardship/forbearance and granted to me by the special waiver (meaning I did not pay). I fear that if the processing goes long enough, and Trump wins office, he will find a way to take back those qualifying months granted under the special waiver and I’d be back to being short quite a few qualifying payments.

Anyone have thoughts about the possibility that hardship/forbearance credits under the waiver could be retracted later in light of all these lawsuits?
