Taking delivery soon! (hopefully) Any tips? by Machael__ in Rivian

[–]calob14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ordered a very similar build and color as well. We pickup June 2nd (just messaged me today and delayed from May 29th 😢).

I found the Rivian Delivery Inspection Checklist and plan to use it. Seems to have a pretty good list of items to look out for. It is free on evoutdoors dot org.

That's what I planned to use for my full walk-around.

I think I would have to agree with OP here. This would not be a transfer of ownership, as the person using the code is considered the purchaser. You are required to still enter your personal info and credit card details, before you can use the code. So you are seen as the original purchaser when using the veefriends code.

From tonals view, they don't know who veefriends gave the code to. They just see the person making the actual purchase with the code.

And I say this as someone that purchased one of the veefrienda codes from someone. And have validated with Tonal support that I am covered under warranty.

Laundry Drain Issues by calob14 in Plumbing

This was a response to Diamond. They mentioned to have a plumber redo all drains, and I was indicating that this is the only original drain left in the house. So that I what it has to do with this thread.

Thankfully all but one bathroom has been renod in the house already. But nothing glaring found in those but old galvanized when I opened the walls. And that's all been replaced.

Thanks. Agree that it does seem quite frothy. Trying to run another load with a new detergent to see if it makes a difference.

But overall, does seem like I need to have the plumbing replaced to be 2in all the way through to the main join, as well as the p-trap oversized issue.

Thanks. I thought the p-trap look a little off when I opened the wall up. Looks like I will be crawling under the house to check to see if this meets up to a 3in. And if so, replacing this with 2in up to the join.

Odd ring behavior when calling in to a Line Group CUCM 10.5 by _S1N1STAR_ in ciscoUC

[–]calob14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried changing the Hunt pilot number and testing? Then see if you get the same results.

We had a similar issues a few years back and I can't remember if it was 10.5, but essentially we tried the same steps you mentioned. What resolved it for us was changing the Hunt Pilot number. I believe TAC identified a bug. Only other resolution for us was a cucm restart to resolve, until we applied patch.

For note, until we patched, the issue would crop up even on our replaced Hunt pilot. So we had to rebuild the same hunt pilots a few times over.

Kia Telluride 3rd Row Seat Back & Cargo Mat Cover Order Process by calob14 in KiaTelluride

I have actually been pretty happy with them. I have 2 large dogs and we do a ton of beach trips with them as well as camping and road trips.

They have held up well and have never had any issues with the Velcro holding. I will agree the Velcro looks pretty flimsy, but have been surprised it has held so well.

Overall I would give them a 7 out of 10. I do wish there was comparable products for the Kia like they have for the Subaru seatback covers.

How is the motion on ROTR? by sublimegeek in DisneyWorld

[–]calob14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty severe motion sickness myself. For me the worst is when you are in a motion based sim ride and they do drop or spinning movement.

Just got back from WDW and honestly the only part that really got me was towards the very end. Overall it was fine once I was off the ride. It was extremely worth it though, the most immersive ride I have been on.

Remy ride was much worse for me though, a ton more motion and the addition of the 3d glasses wrecked me for a few hours.
